Many thanks to the Waterford News & Star and Munster Express for publishing articles about ARC’s and WIT’s recent AFCC “Access to Justice in Family Law” event in Dublin. The event was well attended with representation from all aspects of the family justice system. In attendance were Justice Liam MaKechnie of the Irish Supreme Court, Justice Henry Abbott of the High Court, Justice Peter Boshier (AFCC & Chief Ombudsman of New Zealand), Peter Salem (CEO of the AFCC), Kathy Irwin (Partner at Beauchamps Solicitors), David Hodson OBE of the International Family Law Group, Muriel Walls of the Legal Aid Board, Sabine Walsh of MII and many others.
We felt privileged to assist organising this event and look forward to an AFCC event in Ireland becoming a regular fixture in the Family Law calendar.
